It could prolong service life and maintain stable performance by take a properly operating method. To ensure the normal running of water cooled screw chiller, the following steps must be taken:
Boot sequence: ON cooling water pump→ON cooling tower fan→ON chilled water pump→ON chiller plant
Stop sequence: OFF chiller plant→ OFF cooling tower fan → OFF cooling water pump→ OFF
NOTICE: When shutting down, the chiller should be shut down 1 hour before leaving work (depending on the situation), and the chilling water pump should be shut down after work, which is conducive to saving energy, avoiding fault shutdown, and protecting the unit.
Chiller plant operating
- Preparation work before startup
1)Confirming the power connection of unit and controller
2) Make sure the cooling tower fan, cooling water pump and chilled water pump all are booted.
3）Checking the cooling water pressure gauge and chilled water pressure gauge to confirm whether the chilled water and cooling water pump are booted.
4) Make sure that the end instruments are powered on (for the end valve with a two-way valve should be noted)
2. Startup
1) Press the“Auto” start key on your keyboard.
2)The unit will make a self-detecting, after a few seconds later,
starting compressor.

3.Regular operating
1) When the unit operating normally, the controller will monitor the system parameters of the oil pressure, motor current, and others. If there is any problem, the control system will take appropriate precautions to protect unit and display fault information on the unit screen.
2) In every 24 hours operating period, it should be a special person to record permanently the unit conditions at fixed intervals.
4.Halting
1)As long as press the “stop” status under the keyboard will stop the unit.
2) In order to prevent damage, don’t shut off power even when the unit is halting.
